About us
Somewhere Special is owned and managed by Eve Spencer. For 2009, they are offering 30 CSA shares.
Folks may participate with half or full shares, and those shares may include free range eggs. Half shares are $215, Full shares are $415, eggs may be added for $35.
They will have at two big membership events- Wild blackberry and fishing day and Pick your pumpkin day.
Somewhere Special is pursuing Certified organic status, however the eggs being raised this year will not be organic, as the chickens have not been organic from birth.
Products offered
For 2009, Somewhere Special is growing beans, bok choi, carrots , cilantro, cukes, edemame, eggplant, kale leeks, lettuce, mesclun, onions peas, peppers, pumpkins radishes, summer squash, spinach, snow peas, Swiss chard, tomatoes, watermelon, winter squash, zucchini and a few others.
